Hole One Residence

Wedged into the earth, Hole One takes a watchful post, cantilevering towards the neighboring golf course. With minimal glazing on the main side of entry the home appears well guarded, but upon entering the public space, expansive views of the golf course are within range. The home maintains privacy and directionality towards the course by positioning the living room in the back, allowing ample glazing along the back façade. The double height living room juxtaposes well with a reading loft which looks down on it. Clean interiors with cedar mullions call to a traditional mountain home, while a modern shell houses the inner components.
